Matthew 21:28-31

The sun is a great big fiery ball of gas.

In order to receive sunlight you just need to be in front of the sun with nothing solid between you.
It’s that easy.

God is love.

In order to receive God’s love you simply need to be in front of God with nothing between you.

Its that easy.

If you stand before God with an offering, then you are standing with something between you.
If you stand before God expecting payment for some deed, then there is something between you.
If you stand before God with a request, there is something between you.

Stand naked with your arms outstretched with nothing in them to offer. Accept love as you’d accept sunshine. Reflect it back to the source, like a mirror reflects light.0

Gratitude and love are the only acceptable gifts.

Can you imagine how stupid you’d look if you did a little dance on the beach and said: ‘I’m doing this so the sun will shine?’
Can you imagine how stupid you would look if you stood holding an umbrella between you and the sun and said: ‘This is a gift to the sun so it will shine on me?’
Can you imagine how stupid you would look if you were to stay in the shade, afraid to stand in the sun in case it was to stop shining in response to something you thought you’d done wrong?

Sunlight doesn’t judge.

God is love, and love doesn’t judge either.

So simple.

Like sunlight.

Free.

The father went to the second and said the same; and he answered, ‘I go, sir’; but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you.
