Lockdown prayers 7

 

Lord of the weary and the sick of heart,
Lord of the scared and muddle minded.
Lord of the confused and the lonely,
Lord of the weak and the needy.

Lord of those who judge themselves harshly,
Lord of those who condemn the self.
Lord of those whose hearts are broken.
Lord of those whose need is to please others.

Lord of those who cry in the night,
not expecting to be heard.
Lord of those who hide from the light,
not expecting to be seen.
Lord of those who pray in the corners,
not expecting you to know,

Lord of those whose footsteps are lost in the wind,
Lord of the broken and the lost,
Lord of the poor in spirit,
You are my Lord,
Although I have lost trust in myself;
I trust in you.
